ABOUT ME

I'm a wildlife conservation filmmaker and photographer who believes the best stories are the ones that make you care. Through my production studio, WildTale Media, I create visual narratives that connect audiences to the natural world and the urgent need to protect it.

My path to conservation storytelling began in the fast-paced world of broadcast journalism. I spent over a decade as a TV news photojournalist, working with NBC stations including KNBC in Los Angeles and Dateline. Those years covering breaking news taught me how to find the story in any situation, work under pressure, and capture compelling visuals that resonate with audiences. I learned that whether you're documenting a wildfire or a wildlife corridor, the fundamentals are the same: authenticity, emotion, and truth.

Today, I split my time between multiple roles in visual media. I work as a freelance photo editor with Getty Images, a freelance video editor for various production companies, and pursue my own conservation projects through WildTale Media. I've produced two short conservation films and continue to refine my approach to this slower, more deliberate form of storytelling.

A simple belief drives my work: people protect what they love, and they love what they understand. Every frame I capture is an attempt to bridge that gap between understanding and action.

When I'm not behind the camera or at the editing console, you'll find me out on the trail with my dogs or researching my next project.
